On this day tour you get to discover all the best of what Iceland has to offer. Our first destination is the stunning Thingvellir National Park, where Iceland’s first parliament, Althingi, was founded in the year 930 AD. It has been an UNESCO World Heritage site since 2004. From there we will challenge the 4x4 Super Jeep and drive through a mountain track in the desert valley of Kaldidalur, we will stop at the Glacier Langjokull and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views from the glacier. Next we will drive through Husafell and stop to see the wonderful cascading falls at Hraunfossar, coming from the beneath an ancient lava field. Finally we will feel the warm steam from the hot springs of Deildartunguhver. On our way back you will have spectacular views driving through the Fjord of Hvalfjordur.
